Dear Governors,

The record-breaking attendance at the 2018 Board of Governors meeting brought with it a surge of energy and pride in the strides that Tel Aviv University has made in maintaining its position as Israel's biggest and most desired University, and as a player in the global arena.  Striving for excellence together with never giving up despite setbacks, is the spirit of Tel Aviv University.

Success breeds success and at the 2019 Board of Governors meeting we will bring you more brilliant researchers, students and honorary doctors, a debut performance by Maestro Lahav Shani, Director Designate of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with TAU's Buchmann-Mehta Symphony Orchestra, celebrations of major new initiatives donated by your colleagues, a briefing on the Middle East at the Annual John Gandel Symposium, the internationally acclaimed Dan David Prize, an exclusive trip to Jerusalem and much more.

With your continued help we will be able to fulfill our vision for the coming years.

If you have not already done so, we urge you to make your hotel reservation as soon as possible, in view of the enormous demand from the Eurovision Song Contest that will be taking place during the same week.  To remind you, our 2019 Board of Governors meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15 – Sunday, May 19, with an optional exclusive tour on Monday, May 20.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Best regards,
