Dear Governors,

 

Israel is turning 70 and we look forward to you celebrating with us at the 2018 Board of Governors meeting, May 2-6, with an option to explore the Dead Sea area on Monday, May 7. 

 

At this year's meeting we'll be looking back with pride – and looking forward with vision and determination.

 

Over the decades, with your support, Tel Aviv University has helped transform Israel into one of the top 3 innovation countries in the world and a light unto the nations in academic, technological and cultural excellence. Zionism's early pioneers who made the desert bloom became pioneers of science and knowledge.

 

Now, striding ahead, the University and its supporters have new goals and dreams. We will be marking milestones in TAU's $1 billion Global Campaign and learning how the University will be strengthening its contribution in five key areas:  Israel's global edge, health & wellness, sustainable planet, smart world and better society.

 

Together, we'll ensure that Tel Aviv University's realizes its vast potential for meeting Israeli national priorities in the coming years, and continues to enrich the world with life-changing developments.
